As reported before, the OST for the Kdrama ‘You’re Beautiful’ was a hit on Korean music portal sites before the full album was even released. The 11-track OST was released a little over a week ago and units sold for the album have already reached the 20,000 mark, which is practically unheard of for an OST album.
Due to the success of the OST coupled with the fact that the members of A.N.JELL actually display a true talent for music. Especially real Kpop idol Lee Hongki of F.T. Island and up-and-comer Jung Yong Hwa of the band C.N. Blue, talks have begun to have A.N.JELL crossover into the realm of reality and possibly debut in the future as a real Kpop band.
The members of A.N.JELL, actress Park Shin Hye, actor Jang Geun Suk, singer/actor Lee Hongki, and singer/guitarist/actor Jung Yong Hwa, are not opposed to the idea, but each member’s rigid schedules may not allow room for a few A.N.JELL performances here and there. The final decision on whether or not A.N.JELL will become an authentic band on the real life Kpop stage will not be made until ‘You’re Beautiful’ is close to completion with its filming.
