With the infamous feud between MNET and SM Entertainment still ongoing, which was further escalated earlier this week with the latter boycotting MAMA, it was highly unlikely to see SHINee or any SME artistes on the show now.
But despite their feud, MNET still handed the award to SHINee who had defeated LeeSsang in the various voting categories, showing their impartiality.
